Two weekends ago my parents watched Max overnight - he LOVES staying with them. They always do something fun like take him to the pet store or out for ice cream. This time they went to the toy store and bought Max a little basketball goal since he is a little obsessed with the game ("Ba-Ball" he calls it). March Madness had a whole new meaning in our house this year. Seeing basketball on the television stops Max in his tracks. This child loves sports already.
Here's a little video of him playing in my mom's art studio. She said he'd watch the players on TV for a few seconds and then run over and make a basket. You'll see he's pretty proud of his athletic ability :)

- We were hitched in August of 2005 and spent the majority of our early years as a married couple traveling, enjoying our careers and each other. Then, one day, there was a quietness in the house that neither of us had noticed before. Something was missing... Our little mister named Max was born in February of 2010 and brightened our days. Just as we were getting comfortable in our new roles as parents, we learned that we had a surprise baby on the way! Sullivan Michael was born in August of 2011. We added another sweet little boy, Fletcher William, in November 2013. And yet another darling, Milo Byron, in September 2015. Perhaps we're crazy, but we're open to a couple more kiddos if that happens to be in the cards for our family. Clearly we like to live on the edge. Of our sanity. :) My greatest hope for this little blog is that our children will read it when they're older and it will help them understand the depth of our love for them.
