Octoberfestivities!

We're very excited for Halloween! This was the first year we were able to go to the pumpkin patch without feeling weird that we didn't have a kid with us. Max has become our "ticket" to all the childish things we like to do. Last year when we went I was getting quite large and it was freezing cold. Billy promised that "next year" would be better. And then he fed me hot cider and apple donuts to keep me from complaining more. Of course he was right. The day was perfect and the little dude had a blast. And so did we.

The place we went was not just a plain old pumpkin patch. There were pig races, train rides, hayrides, a petting zoo, a tricycle race track and TONS more. It was kind of overwhelming actually. Max watched the other kids play, instigated a staring contest with a goat and touched every single pumpkin he could.

And for those of you who can't stand the suspense of waiting for the "Halloween" blog post at the end of the month...Max is going to be Max from "Where the Wild Things Are". :)

Pumpkin for our punkin!
Daddy's little monster
